While Andre-Pierre Gignac looks set to commit his long-term future to the club, it seems his fellow countryman, Andy Delort, could be about to return to his native France.
Delort has only been given limited opportunities since his arrival from Caen last summer. He has started just three league games and two CONCACAF Champions League games, scoring four goals in all competitions. He’s reportedly unhappy at seeing a mere 560 minutes of action since he signed.
Saint-Etienne, Rennes, and Lorient are all keen to take the 25-year-old back to Ligue 1. Delort will spend the next few days talking with both Tigres and the interested parties to see if a deal can be reached.
The transfer deadline is Tuesday 31 January.
