Andre-Pierre Gignac passes fitness test – will start against Rayados

Andre-Pierre Gignac will be fit and available for selection in this weekend’s Clasico Regiomontano.

The French international missed last week’s 3-1 win over Pumas UNAM with a muscle problem. Andy Delort started in his place and scored our second goal of the game.

Despite impressing, Delort will presumably be the man who makes way on Saturday; Tuca has partnered Gignac with Sosa for the vast majority of league games this season.

With the exception of Israel Jimenez, there are no new injury concerns elsewhere. Aquino and Juninho are both fully fit after their recent injuries, and Jurgen Damm is also available for selection if needed.

Monterrey will be without Jesus Zavala, Efrain Juarez, and Walter Ayovi.
