According to the Mexican press, several German sides are reportedly interested in signing Jurgen Damm this winter.
The winger had endured a largely disappointing Apertura after losing his place in the side at the start of the season then missing several weeks through injury. But he’s bounced back in the Liguilla and was one of our standout performers in the two games against Pumas.
Damm holds a German passport, a fact which makes him especially appealing to Bundesliga sides as he would not take up one of their foreign player slots.
Chicharito and Marco Fabian are both currently playing in the German top flight, for Leverkusen and Eintracht Frankfurt respectively.
Would Tigres be willing to let Damm leave? His departure would almost certainly provide more opportunities to Andy Delort; the Frenchman looks better and better with every appearance.
