Tuca Ferretti has confirmed Javier Aquino will need to be assessed by the medical team before we know the full extent of his injury.
The winger went off a couple of minutes before half-time in yesterday’s 0-0 draw with Cruz Azul after spraining his right ankle.

The 26-year-old has been in fine form so far this season, scoring three goals and chipping in with two assists. It means he’s only four goals short of his entire 2015/16 total when he hit the net seven times.
Chance for Delort?
Aquino was replaced by Damian Alvarez, but the aging legend failed to have an impact on the game.
If the injury is deemed to be serious, it could open up a spot in the side for Andy Delort. The Frenchman has had to settle for a string of cameo appearances so far as he settles into life in Monterrey, but Aquino’s absence might give him the break he needs.
