If we carry on like this, there won’t be any players left in France!
According to reports in the media today, we have just signed yet another French player – 19-year-old keeper Antoine Seyer (L’Equipe).
He will become the fourth French player on our books after Andre-Pierre Gignac, Andy Delort, and Christophe Libotte Anis.
We’ve signed him from Sports Réunis Colmar, a side that plays in the Championnat de France Amateur. It’s the fourth tier of the French football pyramid. They were relegated last season.
He will originally play with the U20 side after missing the summer’s registration period. It’s hoped he will be able to set up to the first team squad during the next registration window over the Christmas period.
