Alejandro Rodriguez has insisted Francisco Meza will not be sold this January, despite the Colombian failing to report for training ahead of the new season.
Inge says the 25-year-old has a contract with the club, and they expect him to honor it in 2017.
Meza was signed from Santa Fe in the summer of 2015 but didn’t join up with his new teammates until the winter. He spent a largely unsuccessful 2016 on loan at Pumas.
Quinones Brothers Set to Play?
Elsewhere, Luis and Julian Quinones both reported for training on Thursday, cooling speculation they might leave the club.
They will only have two days of practice before the Clausura opener against Santos on Saturday night, but Mediotiempo suggests they could play a part in the game.
The only available first team regulars are Guido Pizarro and Juninho.
