Andre-Pierre Gignac, Javier Aquino, and Jurgen Damm should be fit to face Club Leon in the league this weekend.
Aquino was ruled out of Mexico’s friendlies against Iceland and Croatia after injuring his left thigh while playing Chivas two weeks ago. Damm had also been suffering from a muscular injury.
Both players trained normally today.
In a further boost, it was revealed that this season’s top scorer Gignac trained normally after overcoming a pain in his right knee. The Frenchman has scored eight league goals during the Clausura and seven in his last six across all competitions.
Lastly, Chaka Rodriguez has recovered from a muscle tear and will be fit to play. He’s not been involved in the first XI since Tigres’ 2-1 win against Morelia in late-February.
Tigres face Leon on Saturday night at 7pm local time in El Volcan.
