Guido Pizarro has admitted he’d find it difficult to turn down a move to Argentine side Boca Juniors.
Boca is one of a number of clubs who are interested in the in-form 26-year-old after he was called up to the Argentina squad for the first time last month (MedioTiempo).
“I couldn’t say no to Boca,” said Pizarro. “It’s one of the biggest clubs in the world.”
“But I’m happy at Tigres. They gave me a chance and I’m respectful of that, I’d never go against their wishes”
In a wide-ranging interview with ESPN, he added that he’d assess his options after the conclusion of the Apertura, but would be content to stay at Tigres in the Clausura if no offer from Boca is forthcoming.
Pizarro is currently in South America for Argentina’s crucial World Cup qualifying double-header against Brazil and Colombia.
