Javier Aquino still not recovered from injury – could miss Necaxa game

Javier Aquino is a serious doubt for our game against Necaxa at El Volcan on Saturday evening.

He did not train with the rest of the first team squad earlier today and is reportedly still not 100 percent fit.

He was taken off with a sprained ankle in the 43rd minute of our 0-0 draw with Cruz Azul at the end of September and has not played since.

The winger will have a fitness test later this week before a final decision about his involvement is reached.

Pizarro Returns

In more positive news, Guido Pizarro will return to the starting eleven after missing the Leon game following his red card against Cruz Azul.

It is also thought that Jurgen Damm is now fit again. If Aquino cannot recover in time for Saturday, it seems likely that either he or Andy Delort would take his place.
