Nahuel set to return for CCL clash with Pumas UNAM?

Nahuel Guzman could return to the starting eleven for Wednesday’s CONCACAF Champions League quarter-final second leg against Pumas.

The tie is on a knife-edge after a 1-1 draw in Monterrey last week. Goalkeeping stand-in Aaron Fernandez was partially responsible for the Pumas goal, failing to make contact with Castillo’s cross and thus handing Britos a tap-in.

Nahuel has now missed seven games since injuring himself in Jornada 2 against Atlas. Palos was also ruled out three weeks later after picking up a knock against Toluca.

The Argentine played 90 minutes in the Sub-20’s 1-0 win over Morelia at the weekend, making a stunning save in the process.
