Orozco running scared ahead of Clasico Regiomontano

Jonathan Orozco is a scared man.

If we beat Monterrey in El Clasico Regiomontano on Saturday, and Leon, Toluca, and Necaxa can all pick up three points against Puebla, Tijuana, and Morelia respectively, Monterrey will be virtually eliminated from this season’s Liguilla.

And you can bet Orozco doesn’t want us to be the ones who end Monterrey’s hopes.

He’s already getting his excuses in early, insisting that if his side is eliminated, it will be Rayados’ own fault rather than anything to do with our superior quality.

“If we don’t win, it’s not Tigres that have eliminated us,” he said. “We have to blame ourselves for things we have not done in the other games.”

“The team knows what it has failed to do.”

Sounds to us like he has already accepted that he’ll be on the losing team! What do you think?!
