Three of the Tigres squad have been called up to the Mexico national squad.
El Tri play New Zealand on Saturday 8th October in Nashville then Panama in Illinois two days later.
Hugo Ayala, Jorge Torres Nilo and Jesus Duenas were the three selected. Torres Nilo is the most-capped of the trio – if picked, it will be his 46th appearance in the green shirt.
There was no place in the squad for Javier Aquino. The winger suffered a sprained ankle against Cruz Azul last weekend and is not fully fit.
The two friendly games are Osorio’s last chance to get his side in order ahead of the start of the World Cup qualifying hex. They’ve looked short of confidence since Chile’s 7-0 mauling in the Copa America.
The first game of the hex is on 10th November and sees Mexico travel to the United States.
