Tigres defender ruled out of Queretaro clash after suspension confirmed

Jorge Torres Nilo has been ruled out of the final game of the season against Queretaro.

The left-back has picked up a one-match ban after collecting six yellow cards during the Apertura. The FMF confirmed the news earlier today.

Luckily, he will be back in the side for the Liguilla quarter-final the following Wednesday.

The six cards game against Pachuca, Morelia, Cruz Azul, Necaxa, Pumas, and Tijuana. Amazingly, he’s only played in 12 league games, meaning he’s been booked in an eye-watering 50 percent of the matches he’s started.

His absence leaves us very short in the full-back department. We’re already missing Israel Jimenez and Guty Estrada through injury.

The home game against Queretaro kicks off at 7pm local time on Saturday 19th November.
