Tigres get double injury boost as two stars travel to Mexico City

Both Juninho and Javier Aquino could play some part in this weekend’s game against Cruz Azul after they traveled to Mexico City with the rest of the squad.

Aquino has missed a month after suffering a tear in his thigh, while Juninho has made a surprisingly fast recovery from his dislocated shoulder.

The winger has missed Liga MX games against Veracruz, Morelia and Puebla, as well as the CONCACAF Champions League games against Pumas and Vancouver.

Juninho was on the bench against Vancouver in mid-week and could replace Meza in the back four.

Kick-off at the Estadio Azul is at 5pm local time on Saturday.
