Tigres injury news: Jurgen Damm and Luis Quinones still absent

Neither Jurgen Damm nor Luis Quinones will be fit enough to take part in this weekend’s game against Cruz Azul.

Damm missed the games against Puebla and Chivas after picking up a freak injury from an infected mosquito bite, while¬†Quinones hasn’t played since out 4-2 win over Pachuca in Jornada 5.

Miguel Herrera, Ivan ‘Guti’ Estrada, and Francisco Meza are also all still absent. Guti Estrada isn’t expected to recover from his cruciate injury until late-November at the earliest.

The Return of Guerron?

Cruz Azul will be without Cubo Torres who has a knee injury, and Victor Vazquez faces a late fitness test.

The game also marks the first time we’ll be able to welcome Joffre Guerron back to El Volcan since he left the club last winter. Whether or not he plays remains to be seen – the 31-year-old has not featured in the league for almost a month.
