Nahuel Guzman’s Tigres career could be coming to an end after the player posted what appeared to be a farewell message on Instagram.
The Argentine keeper was at fault for Santos’ tie-winning second goal at the weekend. It was the latest in a long series of high-profile errors from the 32-year-old.
Despite his errors, Nahuel remains popular among the Tigres fans. He was a hero in the Apertura final in both 2015 and 2016 as Tigres won on penalties both times.
More recently, his on-stage antics after Tigres beat Monterrey in the 2017 final cemented his place in Tigres legend forever.
Nahuel joined Tigres in 2014 on a multi-year contract from Newell’s Old Boys. He’s been almost ever-present for the last four seasons, winning his first Argentina cap in the process.
